A quick profile about Citilink
Citilink has become the fastest growing airline in Indonesia since 2011, when it took the first A320 and accelerated expansion as part of an effort by the Garuda group to compete more aggressively on the budget traveler segment.
PT Citilink Indonesia (“Citilink”) is a subsidiary of Garuda Indonesia, incorporated pursuant to Notarial Deed No. Natakusumah. 01 dated January 6, 2009, domiciled in Sidoarjo, East Java, with the ratification of the Minister of Law and Human Rights No. AHU-14555.AH.01.01 Year 2009 dated 22 April 2009. Citilink’s share ownership at the time of its establishment was 67% PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (“Garuda”) and 33% PT Aerowisata (“Aerowisata”).
Citilink Flight was originally a flight managed by Citilink SBU owned by Garuda Indonesia operating with AOC Garuda and using Garuda flight number since May 2011.
Further in accordance with the Deed. 23 dated January 13, 2012 regarding changes in capital deposits, and Deed No. 91 dated August 10, 2012 concerning the inclusion of additional capital in the form of airplanes, Citilink’s shareholding is 94.3% Garuda and 5.7% Aerowisata.
By having an SIUAU / NB-027 flight license dated January 27, 2012 and AOC 121-046 flight certificate dated June 22, 2012, Citilink began operating independently on July 30, 2012 with IATA flight code “QG”, ICAO designation “CTV” and call sign “Supergreen”.

Prior to August 2012, Citilink has operated as a low-cost carrier in the form of Garuda Indonesia’s business division using only a few planes and routes, limited bandwidth management with a focus on the development of the premium airline Garuda.
After a significant change in Garuda’s business in 2011, Citilink’s development and expansion has been the main focus of Garuda Group.
Citilink has the vision to become a leading low-cost carrier in the region by providing scheduled, low-cost, and safety-focused air transport services.
Until the end of 2017, Citilink Indonesia will operate 50 Airbus A320 series aircraft with a capacity of 180 passengers including Airbus A320NEO aircraft that comes complete Citilink fleet since January 2017.
With the addition of A320NEO aircraft into the Citilink fleet, Citilink has become the first airline in Indonesia using the series aircraft.
Serving flight connectivity throughout Indonesia, until August 2017 Citilink has served flights to 31 cities, 62 routes, and more than 244 frequencies daily.
Throughout 2017, Citilink Indonesia has opened flights to 4 new destinations consisting of 4 cities in Eastern Indonesia, namely Jayapura, Kendari, Gorontalo, and Ambon and 1 regional route to Dili, East Timor.

Citilink puts customer satisfaction above all else. As a proof of its success in its commitment to improve customer service, Citilink has earned several awards including Best Overall Marketing Campaign category at The Budgies and Travel Awards 2012, Service to Care Award two years in a row 2012 and 2013 for Airlines category from Markplus Insight, Indonesia Original Brand and Middle Class Brand Champions from Swa Magazine, Indonesia Travel and Tourism Award for Leading Low Cost Airline category for six consecutive years since 2011-2016 from ITTA Foundation, and the latest is Asia Best Employer Brand Awards for the second time from Employer Brand Institute Singapore, Best eMark Award from Telkom University, and Top IT Innovation Award on Transportation from Kemenkominfo.
